I try and shoot as safely as I can. But I'll be honest....I've had a few get away from me in the past. The one that really scared me is the one that glanced off my 3D buck's back and sailed toward my neighbor's pasture.

In reality....I live on 3 acres. My neighbors on each side are on 24 acres, each. The lady that lives in front of me is on 10 acres....and the folks behind me have 17 acres. There were 5 cows in a 24 acre pasture.....separated by 80 yds of mature hardwoods....and it still spooked me.

I couldn't imagine shooting in a residential type setting. If you're within your rights....have at it. Just remember that they all don't go where we think they should.
