What I need to learn is.....what do I look for to discern a "doe" area from a "buck" area. It may be as simple as "away from the does".....but that sounds like too muchlike a season of random sits. I'd like to put a little more science ito it.
That's a tough question, and quite frankly, I don't have a real answer to it, other than they are going generally to be in the thickest spots. But doe bedding area's areoften in these samespots as well. You've seen me post pics of the BIG thicket (probably 15 acres)that I hunt the edge of (I'll show it again), and I believe that in my case they share this thicket because of it's size.I think certain bucks just have their own specific spot within this thicket where they feel secure and alone?
