I haven' t seen a Hoyt bow yet that' ll attain it' s actual peak weight. Come to think of it most bows don' t. My old hoyt raptor was 60-70# but cranked it reached a total of 72#. I changed the riser and only got 63# peak weight. But it still did it' s job. It' s not a really BIG problem. Most bow-tuning freaks would make a big deal about it, but for guys like you and me. As long as the arrow goes where we want it we' re happy. If your bow shoots great the way you want it to. DON' T fix it.

I bought a brandnew 2002 PSE, shot great. But me being the perfectionist that I am. I just had to tweak it, just a ' little' . Just a couple extra twists in the strings&cables. You know what? To this day the bow hasn' t shot the same since.

If it ain' t broke, don' t fix it.
