Everyone has pretty much said it all. If it is flooded look for structure that has been recently flooded. Down here we have a lot of dams, and I like to fish on the river side of the dam the fish sit close to it, and they wait for a meal to come to them. Other than that just look for places where fish can sit on the top side of current, and find food. Bridges and islands on the river are places where the fish will gather on the up-river side.
