Rloving, that great that you can do that I can't get that far here at the house. Please don't neglect those 8-15 yd shots, I know they seem like chip shots and they are most of the time, but they can be the toughest shots on deer, in fact most shots on deer are less than 20 yds, Im sure you know this already, but I have to remind myself of the short ones. I always take those chip shots at the deer target in the tree stand. Dan, once I get in the tree stand I will will shooting at least 30 -35 yds I just need to be elevated before I shoot!
You hit the nail on the head there Vab!! So many bow hunters do this being they think they have to practice at longer yardages, don't get me wrong practicing at longer ranges does make your shooting at closer yardages seem that much easier as MeanV eluted to. Most of your shots in the woods are going to be 20 yards and under. Practice at the ranges your hunting set ups provide for you as well. Actually you should be practicing more at them ranges, at least I would think anyway. JMHO.

Good to hear Vab that you and the new bow are on the same page. Its gotta make you feel good I'm sure. You always seem to keep your hunting shots close Vab, not many folks can say that anymore. Your doing right in my book! Good luck this fall buddy!!
