RE: best quality made rifles
If you can find (and afford) a Colt-Sauer or Mannlicher-Schoenauer, they are among the best. So are the Kimber and the Dakota rifles.
I would trade one of my trained setters for one of the first two, especially in .270 Win for the Sauer, or 6.5x55 or 7x57 for the Mannlicher.
