As far as durability: Here are three 125-grain Ace Standards.

Far left is a head I used for daily stump-shooting in the Colorado Rockies for a week and a half back in 2004. I couldn't begin to guess how many rocks I bounced it off. I still use it as a practice head, although with a few minutes and a file it'd be good to go again.

The middle head is one I out throughthe vertebrae of an elk on that same trip (unintential shot location, by the way). As you can see, there's no damage whatsoever to the tip of the head.

The far right head is one I put through the off-side shoulder of a whitetail buck in 2004. Shattered the knuckle where the upper leg bone attaches to the shoulder blade and never even dubbed the tip. I think I killed four more deer with that head before I finally lost it shooting at a squirrel or some such thing.
