I had one of my hunting safety instructors almost loose an eye due to a recurve exploding and it didn't have ANY cracks in it. It wasn't a pretty site - the bow or the shooter. IMPO, shooting the bow showncould verybe dangerous.

Give it to someone to shootwho thinks you should shoot it and stand back - way back.
