Default RE: Bow Tuning

A cushion plunger might help, but without knowing the distance you' re shooting into the target at it' s hard to tell. Bareshaft tuning with fingers is tough to do and get any results. The best luck I' ve had is to look at the arrow on the bow as if I was going to shoot it and have the front of the arrow pointed left a little. Shoot it and see what the flight looks like. It' ll have some wobble with fingers, but as long as it hits where I want and I get good groups I don' t worry about it. Just from the sound of things you might need to move the rest out from the riser.
