All I can tell you is what my outfitters all tell me, "anything bigger than 243" You can kill them with anything on perfect shot placement but does anyone always make perfect shot placement. Sent some hunters to North TX this last spring and they left with a lot of hogs running around with limps from badly placed shotsfrom 243's
