Default RE: New Scope for .375H&H...

I have a CZ Safari Classic in 375 H&H, thatI love. I am shooting really good groups with a Leupold VXIII 1.5x5x20. I would never take a shot over 200 yards with it but you have to remember that after 200 yards it's dropping like a rock. Post up a pic of what you get! Don't listen to commonsense, as it seems he has none!
I don't know what 375 H&H load you are shooting, but mine only drop 5 inches at 200 yards, and 15 at 300, that is NOT dropping like a rock. The .375 H&H would go good with a 3-9x40 scope. As for lacking common sense, I bed to differ.
If you are zeroed at 100 yards you are dropping almost a foot at 300. I am very comfortable out to 250 and could take a shot out to 300, but I limit myself to 200. I would not, however, recommend that to someone who mightonly have a 100 yard range to zero at and has just recently purchased a new 375 H&H.

Edit-Even If your zeroed at 200 yards, you are going to drop almost 3 feet at 400 yards. You better spend some money on ammo and practice a chit ton if you are going to pull off that shot! I don't care how much velocity and power you think you have!
