I thought I would let everyone know about an Acreage and Fertilizer Calculator - www.critterfoods.com that we use when working with customers here in the Northeast. We created it in response to many question about types of fertilizer and how to convert what your soil test says to actual bags of fertilizer. It doesn't cost anything, just did it to help people be sucessful.

The Acreage Calculator is in yards since many of us use range finders making quick work of the measurements. You have to decide what shape your food plot looks like and calculates it from there.

The fertilizer is calculated from your soil test results. The calculator figures out how many bags and what types of fertilizer we found work best. It's not perfect but has helped a lot of our customers in Vermont create very successful food plots. You'll see the link on the right side of our home page. Hope you like it.
