I saw this and i cant beleive it!
I don't know about 200 pellets in a 10" circle at 40 yards.... but I know about 207 pellets in a 10" circle at 40 yards.
Some of the guys consistantly putting over 200 at 40 yards are using that 4x5x7 stuff.. which basically uses #7 hevi as a buffer... when you have over 500 pellets in a shell... 200 ain't that many. Ain't really such a thing as cheating... but it skews the results a bit. Its spendy... but its nasty stuff.
That pattern in the picture is my Mossberg 835 with a Pure Gold .670 choke tube shooting Hevi-13 3.5" #6s.... and the kicker... its only 1 3/4oz of shot... thats about 375 pellets... with over 200 of those 375 in a 10" circle... do the math..... if the 2 1/4oz loads shoot % wise at tight as the 1 3/4oz loads do.... then it could very well get up around 240+ inside 10".
