I' ve been all over lever actions for the last couple of years. For open country I' ll use my Win 88 .308. For brush hunting, my 94 .32 special. I picked up a BL-22 last year for small game. Not that these replace my bolts, and semis. they' ve just pushed em out of the way for a while.
