I have the Savage in the .223. I love the accu-trigger, but I don't love the gun. I'm gonna swap scopes on it this week to see if it's the scope. I have 2 Remington SPS's, one in .270, and one in 300 ultra mag. I had trigger jobs on both of them and they are my go to rifles. I've never shotthe Remington SPSVarmit series, but I love the SPS. I'm not sure what the varmit series triggers are like, but if they are like the regular SPS triggers, I would recommend a trigger job are changing triggers.
