RE: First Crossbow
DaGriz covered all the basics. I shoot a Horton so my opinion is biased but Excalibur and Ten Point are great bows too. If you are looking at a Horton I strongly conisder looking into an Explorer, it was my first crossbow and is a great intro. CB.
