Well I took my LX to another dealer today, and shot it through their chronograph and it was still 297 fps. but they said it was set on 70 pounds. That made me mad, and made me feel stupid at the same time. I' m sorry guys! I was going by want they told me at the pro shop where I bought the bow. At least I was telling the truth has I knew it. Needless to say, I' m not doing business with them again after that. So let me get this right once and for all. My LX shoots 297 fps with a 29" 400gr ICS Hunter, 30" draw, 80% Let-Off, set on 70 pounds. I still think that' s pretty fast for a smooth shooting bow! Regards, kotklegg[X(][>:][8D]
