Arrow Questions...
I'm going to be shooting in a ASA tournament in a couple of weeks, and i have some questions. One of the rules for the ASA tournament is that my bow speed can be no greater than 280 fps. Well, my bow has aIBO of 310. So my question is, if my bow is shooting over 280 fps, what should i do to slow it down? BTW, I'll be using Maxima 350's for the tournament. Do you think I'll even have to worry about my bow shooting over 280fps with the Maxima's? I'm going to check my bowspeed later today at my local pro shop.
Specs:
Bow: Parker Ultra Lite 31, With my draw length set at 28" (I measured from where the arrow meets the string, to the front edge of the bow shelf,) I'm currentlyshooting my bow at71 lbs.
Arrows: I'll be using Maxima's 350's for this tournament, but I might be using some new Terminator Lite Hunter arrows thatI just boughtin the nearfuture. (BTW, I'm currentlyusing 100 grain tips.)
My other question is, What shouldI have my new arrows cut to with my current bows setup? (Carbon Express Terminator Lite Hunter 6075 Arrows) My current arrow length is 28.5, (I measured from the throat of the nock, to the end of the insert.)
