Yes the peroxide works, it foams the blood, because it is a oxidizer. notice how it reacts on a cut or infected area of your body? Same applies to blood on the ground it doesnt change its color as much as it increases its volume, it then stands up more and you color deprived eyes see a odd shape/color on the leaves and pick it up. And yes I do see better at night, I can pick out the gray tones that are deprived of UV light to blind me.
