I wear 1600 gram Irish Setter Buck Trackers because I'd rather have sweaty feet than frozen feet. I've hunted in 10 degree weather and my feet stayed warm all day. It's got a lot to do with layering socks also. A good pair of wool socks and another pair of regular socks or somethin like that. If your feet get cold enough, you'll try anything to keep em warm and finally find something that works. If it takes 1600 grams to keep my feet warm down here in Alabama, I'd probably freeze my southern tail off up in your neck of the woods, haha.
