There are more than enough laws on the books now to stop crime! Most of the "gun laws" affect the honest people the most! I have nothing to hide, but I could care less about a backgrond check! A background check or waiting period might slow down an impulsive person, but if a person is intent upon violence, a check or waiting period is not going to stop them!
Again, punish the crime, punish the criminal, not the gun or the law abiding gun owner! Most of the "big news" killers commited a dozen other crimes before ever using the gun to murder someone! All that is ignored, it's the guns fault! It's the legal gun owners support of the Second Amendments fault! The poor criminal is just a victim of society! Horse Feathers!
I guess John McCain is our only choice! He's opposed us before, but not 100% of the time like the other 2 choices!
