No, I wouldn't take him. Here's the deal. First of all, we don't have "earn a buck" here in Pa, although I sure wish we did!!! They complain we have too many deer in my area (5-D, where you can get unlimited doe tags!), so "earn a buck" would serve to take down deer numbers, and at the same time give more bucks a chance to reach "maturity". That's another story.
Anyway, back to the question.I think what it gets down to is hunter ethics, or lack there of. If I took that buck under those conditions, I would feel guilty knowing I did it illegally. I couldn't look at him mounted on my wall and be proud of him! Where I hunt,there would be at least a fair chance of getting caught anyway.
