I actually like my nocks to snap on, I wouldn't think of altering them to make them looser. When they start to get loose its time for new nocks, or maybe even new arrows.

How tight or loose they are isn't really the issue, its consistency that is the issue if you are worried about utmost accuracy. This is why some of the magnetic nock systems are supposed to be better.
