RE: CrossBows are comming to town.
They introduced crossbows for everyone to use in my region a few years ago and everyone was up in arms over it. Even I wasn't crazy about it, but since then I have learned that the impact has been minimal and while there are guys out there with a crossbow in hand that treat it like a rifle (i.e. taking ridiculous long shots, not understanding shot angles for an arrow, shooting at running deer, etc.) they are slowly learning. That's all part of it and as long as they learn and hunt within the limitations of their weapons and hunt safely, it's all good.
If it wasn't for crossbows I wouldn't be able to share time in the woods with my father during archery season.
