Then most important thing is to be sure you have an outboard that will run BEFORE you decide to let it drift off of the trailer at Clinton Lake.....
I'll second that one, at least if you launch on the main lake on a weekend with skiers and 15 mph winds.

I should have listened and gone up to the North Fork. Nothin broke and nobody got hurt. It's all good. Just took a while to troll the kid and dog back to the launch -INTO the wind.
