sory guys for the wait on the 7.62 thing but they put alot more powder in the 7.62 then the 308, the 308 chambers arent meant to handle the charge that the 7.62 has even though the bullets share the same outer dimmentions. its kinda like using a 5.56 bullet out of a .223, the 5.56 has alot more powder and can deform the chamber or the empty can get stuck in the chamber
