I must admit I haven't shot a .308 since the Canadian military went to the 5.56.
just i little heads up the canadian millitary never used a 308, they used the 7.62 nato, which is really the same bullet but if you were to use a 7.62 out of a 308 your gun would blow because the 7.62 was loaded for much more pressure, the 308 will never die, it started the short mag craze when it almost matched the 30-06 for power but in a smaller rifle, which is the idea of using a mini mag, lots of people wanted a 300 mag but in a smaller package
..........Could you enlighten us on the part that the 7.62 ammo would blow up a modern .308 chambered rifle? ...........What for facts do you have??......
