i agree with you on the auto pistols there , any that are powerful enough are extremely large like the wildey , lar grizzly , desert eagle ,
one other reason i like single actions is that i feel they have a more rigid or stronger frame in the barrel area , double action revolvers only have half as mush in that area as half of it is cut away so it can swing out the chambers , and they do seem to have a more comfortable grip when held in my hand or at least to me they feel that way , just my personal opinions guys , i like doubles and auto' s but as stated above i just feel single actions lend themselves better to hunting use and i' m talking in factory direct shape , not altered with regard to grip type or trigger pull , factory stock
