Definitely not dead and will be around for a long time. I'm getting ready to order a .308 any daybut am justhaving trouble deciding on what rifle I want itin. I want a wood stock and not too expensive. Not too heavy and not too light as I plan to hunt with it as well as punch paper. Just so many choices it is hard to decide.
