Let me use an old bodybuilding analogy....The great British bodybuilder Dorian Yates once said that a single rep of your max is better than doing multiple reps over and over again. Why did he say it... well he compared it to nailing a nail into a piece of wood.....if you were to drive the nail all the way in in one hit or two hitsmax, would you keep hitting it over and over and destroy the wood??? NO you wouldn't. same goes for your body and shooting the bow.... Now, there are times when reps are good whether your shooting or lifting b/c it builds endurance, but to shoot over and over and over again especially in the same day, can do more harm than not.... just a thought.
