Default RE: Resources for improving Bow Shooting?

Keith,

Thanks for the additional information. I am currently shooting at two local ranges; Caterpillar Employees Archery Club and Chilicothe Sportsman' s Club. The experience gained from these should be invaluable. My goal is to shoot at an IBO competition next year. I need to spend a great deal of time practicing if this is going to happen.

I have recently purchased a range finder. I went to Caterpillar' s shoot this past weekend and used it as you do; estimate, shoot, range-it, and record the estimate and actual. I then calculated the standard deviation to determine the variance. I had a standard deviation of 2.7. I would like to see less than 1 by the end of the year. I shot in Bowhunter Class which has no shots over 30 yards. You gave me a different perspective on analyizing the data. I would like to know how my estimation was around the 15, 20, 25, and 30 yard targets. I' ll figure this up. Thanks!
