You ever try a few feathers on fishing line tied to an arrow, the feathers blow in the wind! This works pretty good, takes the attention off you when you draw!
Is this on an extra arrow near you? How does this work if on the arrow you are shooting?
I use an old arrow, stick it in the ground, tie the fishing line to the feathers and arrow so the feathers are off the ground a bit. The wind will get them twirling in the breeze and the Coyotes/Fox will see the movement and come in to your set up, works well with a bird distress call. With my .204 I put it out about 75 yards and with the bow, I'll put it upwind within bow range. A coyote will usually come in to a distress call from down wind trying to get a whiff of what is in distress!

I found some turkey remnants that got mangled by some Coyotes and took a clump of the wing with the meat and maybe 5 or 6 feathers and tied it to an arrow, movement and the smell of the rotting wing.
