How does it pattern.

I use a fiber type over powder wad - a plastic shot cup purchased from Ballistic Products ( Google them) and then take half a fiber wad - (wad is about 1/2 thick splits easily with your thumb) and use that for my over the shot wad.

Rule of thumb to start is equal powder and equal amount of shot. My Pedroselli patterns well with 100 grains Pyrodex RS and a 1.5 ounces of #6 copper plated lead shot. It is the shot cup that really helps the pattern.

And I kknow what you mean with those file card thin over shot cards - they suck!
