I can truly empathize with you Aussie-guy. I have the same problem.So far, I've avoided the cut, but I don't know how long that will last. One thing I didn't see listed in your post as a treatment option are epidurals. You take them in series of three. Some people have the procedure once and don't have any more pain. For some it takes two or three procedures (you can have them twice a year). Obviously, it doesn't help everyone, but it is certainly and option. Ask your doctor about it.
