I'm not a mechanical guy, but I have used several in the past. I prefer my broadheads to cut on impact versus having to open. The Spitfire XP Pros would be the best way to go if you have your heart set on shooting them.

Dan, do you recomend the Slick Tricks over the other fixed blades out there?

yeper sure did. I through my spitfires in the trash, had a good but bad experience with them. Killed the buck, no pass through double lung, all 3 blades closed upon retrieval. Snagged a trig/branch with another one, broke the blade, blade came back and sliced the aluminum arrow at the feathers. Flew nice though. Maybe it was just me.
