I have never had to, but I probably wouldn't accept a job if it didn't offer decent vacation.
I always factored the availability of vacation time right into how much a job was worth to me. I have always firmly believed that
"you work to live, you don't live to work."
I have been very fortunate with my jobs and my time off and loose schedule.
