Heck, you should be able to find a good bow for that much. Checkmate, hoyts, persons, bear, etc. etc. can be found in that range. You will find a better variety in used bows, but at a lower draw weight, you should have a good selection.
Burnie, whats your price range? I'm a little interested in what you might possibly do for me!?!
I busted my lam grinder last night and think im going to go with a surfacer. So Im going to be sticking with board bows for a while, or until I build a new lam grinder/get a surfacer. Ill let you know when I get things back in order. Ive never been much on producing bows for sale, so I dont really have a price range. I usually build a bow, if I like it, I keep it. I built a few bows to sell this last month to get some extra cash to buy some boat parts. My bass boat motor went cafooowey last summer and I need to do a little work on it. Im working on a little different configuration for an all wood lam bow, that I would be curious on what others think about it. Ill let you know when I get back up and running.
