Give me a break....you are wrong. Many people on here have a heart in more ways than one..first, we care about the suffering of animals and two...we have a heart in terms of not backing down from what is "right".... what the law says is not always the right and ethical thing to do.
Virginiashadow, don't get me wrong...I agree with shooting a suffering animal, wether it be in season or not, as long as you are sure that the deer will not survive otherwise. It is the right thing to do, regardless of the law. But I have read things some guys have wrote on here about shooting a deer that was limping...a deer that may very well have survived had it been left alone.
It's hard to watch sometimes, but it is not our place to decide when these animals die unless we have a tag in our pocket. If, however, there is no chance that the deer will live, I feel like I have the resposibility to ease it's pain. Trust me, I have just as much of a heart as yourself.....
