Ya.. ummmmmm.... aaaaaaauugh.... you can't do that with Scent-Lok or ScentBlocker. The whole idea when you use them.. is not to have any scent.
I sprayed the bottom of the boots ONLY to try to eliminate any scent being on the ground from my footsteps. Here's a standing offer to the makers or believes of scent "control" clothing. I'll bet a dog that can smell narcotics and expolsives through practically any fabric or material, ain't going to have a hard time smelling YOUeven if you are completely incased in scent lok.Who wants to go up against my my dog? Any takers? Scent control has nothing to do with Scent Loc or Scentblocker.
My Dad has tried it with his Bloodhound Klem numerous times. The only time he ever fooled the dog was when he had his Scentlok suit fresh from the dryer and used some powder called Stealth Dust. Now Bloodhounds have phenominal sent trailing so I have tried with my dogs. The Black and Tan Coonhound/ Black Lab mix has no problems and the Brittany/Lab mix has no problems smelling past Scentlok.
I use the facemasks and have some pants I like with it built in but always make sure I look beyond the Scentlok and agree with others in that it can be a tool in minimizing scent but not a solution to scent control.
