Default RE: Scentblocker or Scent lok really needed?

I wore my Scent lok suit and rubber boots, sprayed them down with earth scent.
Ya.. ummmmmm.... aaaaaaauugh.... you can't do that with Scent-Lok or ScentBlocker. The whole idea when you use them.. is not to have any scent.

I won't say you need any sort of Scent-Lok or ScentBlocker... that's like saying you need to have a bow that shoots 320 FPS. It's just an advantage.. nothing more. But it definately will not work when used improperly.. which seems to be its major fault.. hunters who don't read directions or research how to care and use the product.

Oh.. and for those of you court room junkies.. Scent-Lok is being sued not over the effectiveness of the product but rather the arrogance of their slogan.."forget the wind, just hunt". Last I checked a Chevy wasn't really "Like a Rock".. but hey.. this is America and we can sue for just about anything.

And yes.. the product will add more minutes to your normal pre-woods ready time.. but not hours.. more like minutes. And wouldn't you want that extra advantage if it only took just a few minutes? After all we all know whitetail are most proficient with their (100 times better than human) sense of smell.

I know many on here can take a whitetail without the use of this product.. and I understand why one could. If you play the wind.. understand thermals.. and have lower educated whitetail.. you can be effective without the Scent-Lok or the 320 FPS bow.

But I guarantee anyone.. If you use the product correctly.. you will see a much much different change while in the woods this fall. Particularly with the predator population who smell 100 times better than the deer. It's an advantage.. nothing more.
