Yeah, you said they were really gobbling and you were right on about that. I didn't hunt the area you were talking about. I stayed in Bloomington and then drove down to the Charles Deam Wilderness and just winged it the first day. I did a little aerial scouting using Google Earth and those efforts paid offon the first day. I got coordinates to an area that had a couple creeks bifurcating and just went there. Had birds gobbling all around and probably got lucky for my first day. Hoosier National Forest near Monroe Lake has birds all over. Good luck and God bless.
