We just came back from 2 weeks in the Mark Twain. First off let me tell you there were more men hunting there than I have seen in 17 years. I killed my first bird at 1030 on the first Wed. My next bird was killed the second Mon, at 0624. We had birds gobbling most of the day. Some had hens and some did not. But if you did get one to gobble after 9, you had better kill him quick. Because there would be 15 guys with crow calls come running.
