If I didn't like it I wouldn't do it. It was something I worried about the first time I hunted though. A buddy got me into it when I was 30. I told him I don't have anything against deer hunting, just didn't have much desire to do it to be honest. I told him I would give it a try and see what I thought. I said I'm not sure how I feel after I kill one.
Well after killing my first deer with my bow, tracking it and loading it the truck we were driving down the road and he asked me "So, how do you feel, about killing a deer you know?" I said "Well I'm not exactly going to cry if that's what you are asking.".

The next year I got a muzzle loader and hunted with that, and then a slug gun a few years later.
I grew up on a small farm, killing is a part of life sometimes. Hey, if I can look my favorite pet in the eye and shoot it because it got hit by a car, killing a deer when hunting isn't a huge issue with me. Sounds sort of cold, but it's the truth none the less.
