But aren't we just as responsible for hunter good will and public opinion as Ted.
Certainly everyone of us is responsible to show hunters in a positive light. The best that most of us could do is to respect landowners and others who utilize the same public lands that we might. This all starts with us not looking, acting or talking like barbarians. Nugent fails this test right from the get go. As far as good will is concerned, I surely think we should all show good will to each other and to those who don't hunt and even to those who don't like what we do. By doing this we are putting ourselves several notches above the typical anti-hunter who has little if any sense in their head. I DON'T see being critical of another hunter who we don't think represents the majority of hunters as being ill-willed. I don't buy this bull that we all need to stick together as hunters no matter what. If there are bad apples in the bunch, we need to get rid of them or point out how and why we think they are doing hunting more harm than good!
