A little under $300.
I was looking for a .22 target rifle to supplement my positional shooting practice without costing me a 2nd mortgage worth of ammunition. I looked at buying a new Savage MKII target rifle (VSF model I think), but none of the dealers near me carry them or really gave me the time of day when I asked about them. I looked at buying a bull barreled Savage MKII and adding a setof Lyman sights, but that would have cost me the better part of $400. I also considered a dedicated .22 upper for my service rifle, but again, the price was closer to $500. I ran into this gem in a shop a few weeks ago and the money in my pocket started on fire.
The only downsides (if you can call them that) is that it has a better trigger than my AR, its a lot heavier than my AR, its got better sights than my AR, and so far I can shoot it more accurately out to 50 yards than my AR using iron sights. I guess I could have worse things to complain about....
