RE: GPS for Father's Day
I just bought the very basic Garmin Etrex H. Hi sensitivty reciever. Signal picks easy, up no issues so far. Simple to navigate. But it is a battery hog. Now It might be my batteries, they are rechargeable Ni-metal-hydrides, and they are several years old, but it drained them in about 4 hours. Its rated for I think 17 hrs of use.
