This is where open patterns exceed other patterns. Patterns such as Enigma, Predator, ASAT, Skyline are going to be your best bet for the area you showed. Realtree AP is OK, but it still has a bit of a blob effect. It all boils down to how much you are willing to pay. The open patterns are usually more, but are the best IMO for any terrain. I use my Enigma year round for turkey in the spring and deer in the fall.
I think I will go with ASAT or Predator deception or fall brown. I think Enigma would work well also but some thing about turns me off I don't know why but I don't like it. ..
I agree, it's an aquired taste. It looks "goofy" but I'll tell ya....it's absolutely the most effective pattern I've used, and I've used an aweful lot of them. What turns me off is how damn long it takes to get it. Which didn't stop me from ordering a new set of G2.
I think i would like it better if the "lines" were black or brown instead of green and red.
Whitetailbowhunter, since the revisions have been made to the pattern you will see the lines are brown now. The G1 was the first printing of the fabric and the colors did not turn out quite like Chuck Pensyl (The Enigma Owner) would have liked. These pictures are of the G2 Field jacket.

Close up like that doesn't look bad. How much does a suit put a man back?
