Yeah I bought that string from Cabelas if my memory serves me right. But just look around you will find many people who can build you a string for it. I reccomend replacing that old string asap. That string is far past its useful life. As far as them all being made in 1964 im not sure. Most of the time it is very hard to identify the exact year they were made but my guess is that it was somewhere close to that year when they were made. Yours looks like its in about the same condition as mine. I wiped mine down with some murphy's oil soap to clean the dirt off of it.
