1) The bow has always been regarded as the preferred tool of poachers. This one made me laugh
2) The Queens ducks, geese, swans and deer were walking around with arrow, tipped with field points, through their bodies.
3) It is considered inhuman to the majority of those which vote (see above).
4) Rather than fix the problems, it was easier to ban bow-hunting.

That's my take on the situation...
