WC, the bird I killed the 1st season had his spurs wore down to a rounded point! My taxidermist said he was an older bird but figured his 1 inch spurs were wore down because of the harsh winter. He weighed in at 24lbs, 12" beard, 30" fan spread and only 1 inch spurs! All in all a great bird coming off such a harsh winter!! This winter was a rough one around here, a lot of snow and ice for months at a time! The entire late season Bowhunt we had snow/ice covering the ground! Have you got any pics of the birds spurs???
